WEST COAST HOSTS MELGES 24 GOLD CUP, JUNE 27-29

25 JUNE 2008 - Held in conjunction with Ullman Sails Long Beach Race Week presented by ACURA, the 2008 Melges 24 Gold Cup happens this weekend June 27-29. This really fun event boasts three days of racing on the gorgeous waters of Long Beach, California, plenty of fun and parties galore from Alamitos Bay Yacht Club to the Belmont Shore's nightlife attractions. In year's past, Long Beach Race Week (LBRW) has entertained the Melges 24 fleet with great race management and perfect planing conditions, 2008 will offer up just the same. USMCA Class Members Christopher Farkas on 'Practice Girl', George Roland on 'Karma' and Robert Tennant on 'Where's Bob' are all scheduled to be on hand to compete.
