MELGES 24 GATEWAY REGATTA CANCELED

©2006 Thierry Lavernos 08 APRIL 2008 • From Thomas Wyman It is with great regret that we announce that the Gateway Spring Melges 24 Regatta will be cancelled this year due to flooding on Carlyle Lake. The lake is five feet over the seawall as of April 7, and there is no way the Corps of Engineers can get rid of that much water before the regatta. Our apologies to those teams that were planning to come - we had a great event planned. The 2009 regatta is scheduled for May 2-3, 2009. So make your plans early for 2009!
