LAKEFEST REGATTA SPECIAL INVITE ANNOUNCEMENT

©2008 JOY | U.S. Melges 24 Class Association 05 APRIL 2008 • From Matt Mayo, USMCA Gulf Coast District Governor The eight Melges 24 teams planning to attend Lakefest, April 21-22 are invited to a casual camping dinner and 10-minute meeting for a quick vote on the remaining Gulf Coast schedule and any other issues that anyone would like to bring up. Please bring a chair and stay a while. Look over the schedule posted so you can bring your opinion regarding; Austin and Stockton 2 weeks apart. Ft. Worth regatta is optional. There are emails in the yahoo group archives with more discussion. If you are not able to attend, please call/email me with your preference or likelihood of making the events in question. I have heard from a couple of people only. You are also welcome to come by anytime for a beverage or spot by the fire. You may hear an excuse you have not heard before. If there is marginal weather, look for us at one of the two covered shelters in the camp area. The camping area is up on the hill, entrance near the actual green caboose. To locate the specific campsite between the cabins, I will try and remember to bring and fly the ‘Melges 24’ flag somewhere you can see it with headlights.
