MELGES 24 SOUTHEAST FALL/WINTER SERIES LINE-UP — WFORC, MELBOURNE, ACC/KING'S DAY, KEY LARGO

07 OCTOBER 2007 • The 2007 Fall/Winter Racing season is upon us and drumming up the excitement is three regattas — WFORC/Gulf Coast Championship, October 13-14; Atlantic Coast Championship/King's Day Regatta, November 17-18; and the Key Largo Regatta, December 8-9.

Southeast District Governor, Reid Collins has been hard at work on promoting the above events. Check out these details:

WFORC | MELGES 24 GULF COAST CHAMPIONSHIP
OCTOBER 13-14, Pensacola Yacht Club
Pensacola, Florida

Destined to be a good time anyway you look at it, the WFORC and nationally ranked 2007 Melges 24 Gulf Coast Championship will be a lot of fun. Fifteen to as many as more than twenty M24s are set to attend. This is also the event number five in a a series of seven for the Southeast regatta circuit. The grand prize? A brand spanking new Quantum jib. You can't win it, if you don't race — so be there!

MELBOURNE FALL REGATTA 2007
OCTOBER 27-28, Melbourne Yacht Club
Melbourne, Florida
Participation is building fast for this week-long event. Racing for the M24s is on October 26-28 with some of the biggest and best competition during the Fall and Winter racing season. Visit MYC Online for more information.

KING'S DAY REGATTA | ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP
NOVEMBER 17-18, Florida Yacht Club
Jacksonville, Florida

SPECIAL BOAT MEASUREMENT OPPORTUNITY

If you are looking ahead to Key West in January, this event is ideal for several reasons. Are you looking for an excuse to spend time in warm Florida in December? Last year was a great success and as the class ramps up to 2008 you should definitely add Key Largo in order to keep those speed muscles loose.
