2007 CHARLESTON GOLD CUP REGATTA = TIDES, SEA BREEZE AND SHRIMP BOIL

26 JULY 2007 • The racing in Charleston Harbor is awesome, August 18 & 19. The combination of steady afternoon sea breeze and tidal currents makes for excellent and challenging racing. Join the excitement at one of the biggest Melges 24 regattas of the year. More than 30 M24s are expected, including Argyle Campbell from California and Simon Strauss from New York. Southeastern legend and class president Scott Gregory is expected as well as local aces John Lucas and Steve Kopf.

Participants will enjoy a clinic on Friday afternoon and a classic Lowcountry shrimp boil on Saturday night. Download the NOR (included link) today and beat the early registration deadline of July 31. Several people are looking for boats to charter.
