Forty, yes forty different boats have competed in at least one event on the circuit so far this season which breaks all past records for four events. Lake Geneva will only add to this number. Even more important... for the first time we have averaged 20 boats on the starting line for the four completed events! Lake Geneva will only bring this average up. All participants should congratulate themselves for the participation and fleet growth. Everyone must know someone who needs to join us in the fun. Don't be shy, tell them how much fun you are having! Top five boats going into Lake Geneva are Mike Dow Flying Toaster, Paul Hulsey HooDlum, Marc Hollerbach FU, Chuck Holzman Flyer 06 and Ken Gray on Slurred, Not Spoken. With only the final event remaining, Lake Geneva will once again decide everything. Some serious sailing is going to go on. Time to "bring it" so to speak. Melges 24 Fall Regatta Two days of Championship Racing - Saturday and Sunday October 7,8 at the home of the Melges 24 - Lake Geneva Yacht Club. Set Up, Practice Sailing and LGYC Bar open on Friday afternoon, October 6. Beautiful fall colors on Lake Geneva this weekend!!! Europeans traveling to attend - great competition, super fun racing! It wasn't in numbers of boats but a 6th place finish by Brian Porter on Full Throttle with Andy Burdick, Harry Melges and John Porter crewing..... and they are from Lake Geneva! Way to go!
