DAVE ULLMAN LEADS THE MELGES 24 FLEET AT ULLMAN SAILS RACE WEEK

23 JUNE 2006 • It's no surprise that none other that Dave Ullman on Pegasus 505 is leading the Melges 24 class after one day of racing at 2006 Ullman Sails Race Week. After landing third overall in Ocean Reef at the 2005 Worlds, winning Key West and grabbing second place in the recent North American Championship held in Santa Cruz, Dave is by far one of the strongest competitors on the course.

Ullman Sails|Long Beach Race Week - taking place this weekend, eight M24s are racing as some are potentially preparing for the 2006 Worlds coming up later this year in Hyeres, France. Following Ullman, the second of two Pegasus racing teams is 2003 Melges 24 World Champion, Shark Kahn Pegasus 492 just two points out of first place. Tied with eight points each are Melges 24 teams extraordinaire Argyle Campbell on Rock n'Roll (third) and Bruce Ayres on Monsoon (fourth).
