THIRTY-TWO MELGES 24s SET TO RACE IN SANTA CRUZ AT THE 2006 NAC!

17 MAY 2006 • With only a few hours to go, the 2006 Melges 24 National Championship will commence with thirty-two M24s ready to battle for one of the most coveted titles on the International Melges 24 racing circuit. Just check out the line-up of participants...

USMCA West Coast District Governor Don Jesberg; 2005 Euros Corinthian Champion Eddy Eich; a repeated Corinthian Champion on many accounts - Bruce Ayres; Seadon Wijsen; 2003 Melges 24 World Champion Shark Kahn; Philippe Kahn; highly-respected Rolex Yachtsman of the Year and 2006 Key West Race Week Champion Dave Ullman; reigning 2004 North American Champion Argyle Campbell; sailor extraordinaire Stan Eriksson; USMCA Pacific Northwest District Governor Paul Bennett and last, but not least Brian and John Porter with their Full Throttle crew of Harry Melges, III and Dave Navin. Racing begins on Thursday, May 18 and runs through until Sunday, May 21. Plenty of the hottest racing on the planet is expected as this venue will also be the place to be early May 2007 — Santa Cruz is the next destination for Melges 24 World Championship in North America!
