10 MAY 2006 • The eighth 2006 North American Ranking Event will now be held on July 21-23 in Seattle, Washington. This event was originally set for the same dates as the Whidbey Island Race Week Regatta on July 17-21. This five-day event backed right up to the 2006 Pacific Coast Championships leaving a great many West Coast and Pacific Northwest teams having to choose between the two events. With a higher expected turnout at the PCCs, the dates have been adjusted to encourage more turnout at the North American event.
