RACKING UP ON PARTICIPATION: 2006 MELGES 24 DETROIT NOOD, JUNE 2-4

12 MAY 2006 • The 2006 Lands' End Melges 24 Detroit NOOD Regatta is potentially bring in double the participation level of 2005! The term used to describe this event is "awesome, awesome, awesome, fun, fun, fun." Last year, Detroit Fleet Captain, Paul Hulsey in Detroit made a big splash of things for the class and as it stands, over twenty-five verbal commitments have been received from the Midwest alone for 2006. This regatta is destined to be even more amazing than last! This will be one of the best events to attend, helping you warm-up to the Gold Cup this coming August in Newport, Rhode Island.

Already thirteen Melges 24 teams have registered, including commitments from 2006 Annapolis NOOD Champion Chuck Holzman, Midwest District Governor Mike Dow, from the Annapolis/East Coast area, Bill Carleton and local favorite Marc Hollerbach will be appearing!
