2006 BOSTON MERIDIAN MERCHANT BANKING/SAIL NEWPORT MELGES 24 GOLD CUP NOR AND ENTRY FORM NOW AVAILABLE

26 APRIL 2006 • Boston Meridian Merchant Banking and Sail Newport, official sponsors of the Melges 24 US Gold Cup (August 18th to 20th in Newport, RI), are happy to announce that the NOR and Entry Form is now available at http://www.sailnewport.org/npt/m24goldcup.aspx . This is going to be a world-class event bringing sailors from all over the East coast and even from the Midwest to compete over three days in one of the best places to race in the country with more than 30 boats scheduled to attend and prizes for both overall and Corinthian competitors. There will also be fun off the water social activities every night including a Saturday party at the New York Yacht Club’s Harbor Court Estate overlooking Newport Harbor. Since Newport is an attractive location in August for a variety of social events and weddings, the organizers urge you to make your reservations early. Sail Newport has provided a dedicated reservation agent for Melges Sailors to book accommodations available on the US Melges Gold Cup website. Don’t miss this exciting event!
