WHIDBEY ISLAND RACE WEEK, PINNACLE OF PACIFIC NORTHWEST RACING SEASON
05 MAY 2008 • The weather has turned in the Great Pacific North West and it is Melges 24 weather now! The fleet has surged in numbers to over 25 local boats, with 3 new boats added to the fleet in the last two months. The PNW Melges 24 fleet is getting ready for two major events coming up. The first is Seattle NOOD May 16-18th.

30 APRIL 2008 • The 2008 Melges 24 U.S. National Championship will take place in Charleston, South Carolina on September 18-21, hosted by the Charleston Yacht Club. For the U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USMCA) this is a premiere event, where as many as 50 teams are expected to attend. "We are going to see boats from all over the country.
