BIOGRAPHY: Don grew up in Belvedere, California racing on San Francisco Bay for his entire life. In 1994, after completing his 7th Etchells Worlds Championships, he raced in the 1994 Melges 24 National Championships on San Francisco Bay (in 25 knots of wind with 35 entries) and never raced an Etchells again. Racing Melges 24s numbers 77, 222, 330. 498 and currently USA 555 Don has been active in the class for more than 10 years.

A member of both The San Francisco and St. Francis Yacht Clubs, Don works hard supporting the activities of Fleets 8 and 11 throughout Northern California.
