BIOGRAPHY: My father, Scott Gregory, Sr., is responsible for my sailing addiction. He introduced me to sailboat racing at the young age of six months, and I am eternally grateful that he chose to keep me around as crew. As a youth, I competed in numerous inshore and offshore events on the Gulf Coast and spent countless hours working and sailing on my father’s various sailboats. In college, I taught advanced sailing at Camp Sea Gull on the coast of North Carolina. In August of 2001, I purchased hull # 378 from Glenn Murphy in Burlington, Vermont. The boat had seen little use and I fell in love with it immediately. Presently, I sail out of Lake Lanier Sailing Club (“LLSC”) in Atlanta, Georgia. We have an active fleet of ten (10) Melges 24. I am fortunate to sail with a talented group of sailors on Team Satisfaction (Mal Hill, Michael Schulz and Jeremy Tudor). These guys know the Melges 24 and could make any helm look good on the course.
