MCKENZIE WINS TIGHT MATCH-UP AT SOUTHEAST INLAND CHAMPS

The Southeast Inland Championship, hosted by the Lake Lanier Sailing Club was great success this past weekend, 15 boats raced. This was the third regatta in our North American Sailing series. Six out of town teams and nine local completed on Lake Lanier under super conditions.

Saturday saw some very competitive races after a short delay due to allow the wind to fill in. Three races were ran in 8-12 knots of breeze. Steve Boho’s The 300 led the day with a 6,1,1 score, followed very closely by Corinthian Brent McKenzie’s EX-KAHN. / READ MORE

2024 MELGES 24 WORLDS NOR PUBLISHED AND ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

The International Melges 24 Class Association, in partnership with The San Francisco Yacht Club and the U.S. Melges 24 Class Association, is excited to announce the opening of registration for the 2024 World Championship, which will take place August 17-24 in beautiful California, USA!

“We are looking forward to the Melges 24s in 2024! Teams can count on this being the best Melges 24 World Championship ever,” says Matthew Sessions, 2024 Worlds Regatta Chair. “After a couple of years of delay due to Covid, we are thrilled about getting the World Championship underway and making it a most memorable event.”

GULARI WINS BACARDI INVITATIONAL REGATTA, DYVI TOPS CORINTHIAN DIVISION

Bora Gulari at the helm of Kingspoke emerged triumphant ahead of overnight regatta leader Peter-David Karrie racing Nefeli. Congratulations to Jan Frederik Dyvi, Jan Borø, Herman Horn-Johannessen, Stian Ness Rørvik and Malin Rørvik-Sundelin as they are the 2024 Corinthian Melges 24 Bacardi Invitational Regatta champions. This is their 3rd consecutive Bacardi Invitational Regatta all-amateur win. He placed 8th overall. / READ MORE
