MELGES 24 NAC DATE CHANGE, NOW SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 23-25 IN 2026
The Melges 24 North American Championship, originally slated for December 12-14, 2025, has officially been rescheduled and will now take place January 23–25, 2026, in coordination with Bacardi Winter Series event No. 1. This three-day event will serve as the perfect kickoff for an exciting year of Melges 24 racing in 2026.

USMCA CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR IM24CA AGM 2025
In preparation for the IM24CA AGM later this year, the U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USMCA) is reaching out to its current membership for any submissions regarding the Class constitution, future events, Class rules, technical issues, regatta regulations and general policies.
In order for your submissions to be considered, they must be completed and sent to the USM24CA prior to the close of business on Monday, August 4th, 2025.

ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR THE 2025 U.S. NATIONALS in PENSACOLA, FL
The U.S. Melges 24 Class is thrilled to announce that online registration is officially open for the 2025 U.S. National Championship, hosted by Pensacola Yacht Club (PYC) on November 14-16, 2025. Two additional days, November 12-13, are reserved for early arrival, on-site check-in, and practice racing.

EIGHT BELLS TOLL FOR 'THE BOB'
It is with heavy hearts that the US Melges 24 Class shares the news of the sudden passing of Bob Clark, a lifelong sailor, a legendary Corinthian crew member and beloved Melges 24 Class competitor, multi-national champion and beloved friend. Bob was a big part of the Melges 24 Class from the very beginning as the proud owner of #13 Snow Pile Express. He was also a steady and trusted crew member on Mike Dow’s Flying Toaster, and most recently a key part of the 2025 Charleston Race Week Corinthian Champion team Bad Idea, owned by Scot Zimmerman.
